Start out at Lakeview Park, ascend to the Ridgeline Trail and then head west. Reach the microwave towers, make the descent through Lake San Marcos and return to the starting point via Cima and Discovery Creek Trails. Approximately 6 miles and elevation gain of 1,115’.
