Step 1.Create an account

Only vendors that are registered will be eligible to bid and/or propose for project solicitations with the city.

Each agency has its own PlanetBids portal.  Register individually with each agency to receive their procurement opportunities.

Step 2.Select the types of bids you want to see

In your account, select the NAICS category codes selected for the primary scope of work of the solicitation.

Therefore, during the registration process you are encouraged to select all category codes (20 maximum) that fully reflect your firm’s services and/or merchandise for sale. 

Review opportunities

When you are notified by email of a bidding opportunity:

Step 1.Click on the link

Your e-mail notification will have a link that takes you to the Bid Information page. You can also log-in directly to the City’s PlanetBids™ portal to see any open solicitations.

Step 2.Review the summary

You can see an overview of the opportunity to see if it's up your alley.

Step 3.Register as a prospective bidder

Log in and register as a “Prospective Bidder” to download or submit a bid.

Step 4.Download

Review or download all documents associated with a specific solicitation, including Terms and Conditions, General Provisions, or sample Agreements. You are responsible for having the most complete and current version of the bid documents. Be sure to check any addenda too.

Forgot username and password

Click on “Forgot Password” at the PlanetBids™ log-in page and enter your e-mail address. Your username and password will be e-mailed to you.
