The City of San Marcos is hosting another public workshop on Monday, Sept. 14, 6 p.m. at City Hall (1 Civic Center Drive), as part of the ongoing effort to update the San Marcos Creek Specific Plan.

This workshop marks the third in a series designed to gather public input and share updates on the Creek Specific Plan, a long-range planning document that will guide land use, development standards, infrastructure, parks, and open space in the Creek District. The updated plan aims to reflect the current needs and future vision of San Marcos while supporting sustainable growth and vibrant community spaces.

At the workshop, attendees can explore a display of key plan elements and hear about the Draft San Marcos Creek Specific Plan. City staff will share how previous community input shaped the draft update and will be available to answer questions and gather further feedback.

No official decisions on the project will be made at this public workshop.

This event is part of the city’s broader commitment to transparent, community-driven planning. Those unable to attend can view the workshop materials on the project webpage after the workshop.
