Project Workshops

The city requires applicants to hold public workshops for significant development projects.  These meetings are not part of the formal project approval process but offer the community an opportunity to learn and engage prior to the formal approval process, including:

  • Meet the project applicant and their team
  • Meet the city staff assigned to process the project
  • Review the scope of the project
  • Questions and answers
  • Receive a tentative schedule for the processing of the project
  • Receive other project related information

Commissions and advisory bodies

Three appointed advisory commissions provide input to the city's planning processes and projects. All provide an opportunity for the public to attend and provide comments.
