Bags N’ Brews returns to San Marcos with cornhole, craft brews and fun

The City of San Marcos invites the community to enjoy a day of friendly competition, local flavor and outdoor fun at its annual Bags N’ Brews event on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hollandia Park.  

Bags N’ Brews brings residents and visitors together for a relaxed, community-focused event centered around a cornhole tournament, local craft brews, food trucks and family-friendly activities.  

Participants can register as a team of two and compete in either the recreational or competitive division. A total prize pool of $1,500 will be awarded, with opportunities for players of all skill levels to join in the fun.  

In addition to the tournament, attendees can enjoy live music, activities for kids and a welcoming social atmosphere that supports local businesses and encourages community connection.
